Jamaica invites you to celebrate International Reggae Day (IRD) on July 1st

A global media festival hosted annually by Jamaica July 1 , IRD celebrations highlight the power and impact of Reggae music around the world and is produced by Jamaica Arts Holdings in association with Jampro and the Ministry of Industry & Tourism and endorsed by the Jamaican Federation of Musicians, Bob Marley Group of Companies and Studio One.

We invite you to register to be a part of this initiative to promote Reggae music and ask that you register at www.internationalreggaeday.net or fax us a letter on your station/publication letterhead with demographic and programme information as well as confirmation of programming participation on or before July 1, we ask that you commemorate International Reggae Day (IRD) during your broadcast prior to or on July 1 of programme(s) featuring archive specials, countdowns, special interviews and links with Jamaica (radio/tv/artistes/producers).
